What is it?
This identifies and examines the roles and actions of the preferred and non preferred hands otherwise known as the dominant and the non dominant hands. It basically says that both hands work differently to each other when undertaking tasks.
Why must it be considered when developing HCI?
All HCI that is designed must be designed so that it can be easily used for both left handed and right handed people. A mouse for example has the option to change the right & left click buttons around if a user is either left handed or right handed.
